- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Connect the Scan Tool
to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Use the Scan Tool
in order to monitor the status of the CTSY LAMP SW.
- While observing the Scan Tool
, turn the IP dimmer switch from off to DOME, and back to
off.
Does the Scan Tool
display
that the status of the CTSY LAMP SW is high when the IP dimmer switch is
in the DOME position?

- Close all the vehicle doors.

contact. Perform repairs as necessary.
- If the BCM Connector C1 terminal D15 is OK, then replace the BCM.
