Trunk Ajar Warning Light On or Luggage Compartment Lamp Works Backwards on 03-05 Park Avenue - kw battery decklid inoperative latch rear

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

Some 2003-2005 Park Avenues may experience a concern of the trunk ajar light being on with the trunk closed, or a concern of the trunk lamp being on with the decklid closed and off with the decklid open.

Replace the trunk latch with part number 25762646.
