Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 255305 Size: SH
  3. Remove the nuts (3) that retain the taillamp (2) to the vehicle.
  4. Remove the grommet (1) from the rear end panel.
  5. Remove the taillamp (2) from the vehicle.
  6. Release the locking tab and turn the bulb and the socket counterclockwise in order to remove the bulb and the socket from the taillamp (2).
  7. Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 255305 Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb to the socket.
  2. Turn the bulb and the socket clockwise in order to install the bulb and the socket to the lamp.

    3. Important: Ensure that the grommet (1) is fully seated.

  3. Install the grommet (1) to the rear end panel.
  4. Install the taillamp (2) to the vehicle.
  5. Install the nuts (3) in order to retain the taillamp (2) to the vehicle.
  6. Connect the electrical connector.
  7. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
