Notice: If any brake component is repaired or replaced such that air is allowed to enter the brake system, the entire bleeding procedure must be followed.

1. Remove the proportioning valve (1) from the brake line.
2. Plug the brake line to prevent excess brake fluid loss.

1. Install the porportioning valve (1) to the brake line.

Tighten
Tighten the proportioning valve to 15 (11 lb ft).

2. Bleed the brake system as necessary. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
