The battery positive terminal is connected to the the starter solenoid by a CKT 1 (BLK) cable and to the underhood fuse block by a CKT 1 (RED) cable. A second cable assembly is fastened to the terminal of the underhood fuse block. This cable assembly provides a connection on CKT 1 (BLK) to the generator and on CKT 1 (BLK) to the underhood maxifuse® block.

The battery negative terminal is connected to engine ground G102 and chassis ground G103 via two CKT 50 (BLK) ground cables.
