Tools Required

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in Jacking and Lifting.
2. Remove the front lower splash shield.
3. Drain the coolant. Refer Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
4. Close the radiator drain cock. Install the front splash shield.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Install the J 28467-A to the engine.
7. Remove the supercharger belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
8. Remove the ignition module.
9. Remove the supercharger belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
10. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
11. Remove the torque axis engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
12. Remove the power steering pump. Set the pump aside. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
13. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .



14. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
15. Remove the drive belt idler pulley.
16. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bracket bolts.
17. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bracket.

1. Install the drive belt idler pulley bracket.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the drive belt idler pulley bracket bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the drive belt bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

3. Install the drive belt idler pulley.
4. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

5. Install the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
6. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
7. Install the torque axis engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
8. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
9. Install the supercharger belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
10. Install the ignition module.
11. Install the supercharger belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
12. Remove the J 28467-A .
13. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
