Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid latch assembly. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the following components:
    4. • The rear compartment lid latch assembly
    • The compartment lamp

    Object Number: 255856 Size: SH
  4. Remove the conduit cover (4).
  5. Remove the release clips retaining the wiring harness (3) to the rear compartment lid.

    6. Object Number: 255855 Size: SH
  6. Remove the wiring harness (2) from the rear compartment lid (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 255855 Size: SH
  1. Install the wiring harness (2) to the rear compartment lid (1).

    2. Object Number: 255856 Size: SH
  2. Install the release clips in order to retain the wiring harness (3) to the rear compartment lid.
  3. Install the conduit cover (4).
  4. Connect the electrical connectors to the following components:
    5. • The rear compartment lid latch assembly
    • The rear compartment lamp
  5. Install the rear compartment lid latch assembly. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement .
  6. Install the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
