Use a test lamp in order to backprobe from battery positive voltage (B+) to the memory seat/mirror switch cavity D (BLK).

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe from battery positive voltage (B+) to the appropriate memory seat/mirror switch cavity.
  2. • MEMORY-1: cavity A (WHT)
    • MEMORY-2: cavity B (PPL)
  3. Operate the inoperative memory seat/mirror switch:

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe from battery positive voltage (B+) to the appropriate left front power window switch cavity.
  2. • MEMORY-1: cavity 3 (WHT)
    • MEMORY-2: cavity 2 (PPL)
  3. Operate the inoperative memory seat/mirror switch:

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the left front power window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement in Doors.

Is the power window switch replacement complete?

Test CKT 450 (BLK) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in CKT 450?

Replace the memory seat/mirror switch. Refer to Power Mirror Switch Replacement in Doors.

Is the memory seat/mirror switch replacement complete?

Repair the faulty wiring in CKT 615 (WHT) or CKT 616 (PPL). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
