DEFINITION: This table diagnoses inoperative lumbar support (AL2) in the left seat and the right seat. Perform the diagnosis if the lumbar support does not move in any direction.

Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the appropriate lumbar switch connector from cavity G (ORN) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the appropriate lumbar switch connector from cavity G (ORN) to cavity E (BLK).

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the suspect lumbar switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

Is the lumbar switch replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1340 (ORN) between the lumbar switch and the appropriate splice:

    • Left: S330
    • Right: S331

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 850 (BLK) between the lumbar switch and the appropriate splice:

    • Left: S332
    • Right: S333
