Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 420434  Size: SH
  1. Raise the seat to the full upright position.
  2. Unsnap the front track cover from the seat by sliding forward.
  3. Remove the 2 front screws from the memory seat module bracket.
  4. Remove the front seat anchor bolts from the rear of the seat tracks.
  5. Raise and support the rear of the seat assembly.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  7. Remove the 2 rear screws from the bracket.
  8. Remove the memory seat module (1) and the bracket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 420434  Size: SH
  1. Install the memory seat module (1) and the bracket.
  2. Install the 2 rear screws to the bracket.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Align the seat.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the seat anchor bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  8. Install the 2 front screws to the bracket.
  9. Install the front track cover.
  10. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration .
