Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Turn the ignition to OFF.
2. Connect a scan tool.
3. Turn the ignition to ON.
4. Select the driver door module (DDM) inputs.
5. Move the mirror select switch.

Does the scan tool indicate LEFT/RIGHT switch activity?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

Move the mirror position switches for each mirror.

Does the scan tool indicate UP/DOWN LEFT/RIGHT switch activity?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

1. Disconnect the failing mirror(s).
2. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the voltage across the following door module terminals:

•	Connector C5 terminal 6 to terminal 2 Left/Right Motor

•	Connector C5 terminal 5 to terminal 1 Up/Down Motor

3. Position the mirror switches in order to move the mirror being measured.

Does the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Replace the mirror switch. Refer to Power Mirror Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the door module at the malfunctioning door. Refer to Front Door Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the faulty mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?
