Did you perform the Automatic Day-Night Mirror Diagnostic System Check.

Go to Automatic Day-Night Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the driver door module (DDM) mirror connector C5.
2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
3. Cover the forward light sensor in order to simulate darkness.
4. Shine the light into the rearward light sensor.
5. Measure the voltage across DDM terminals C and D.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

0-1.2 V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Test CKT 1690 (BLK) and CKT 1691 (BLK) for opens. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Are there opens in circuits 1690 and 1691?

Go to Step 4

Repair the faulty circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Automatic Day-Night Mirrors System Check

Replace the LH outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement in Doors.
