Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 375350 Size: SH
  1. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
  2. Remove the tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .
  3. Remove the 2 lower TORX® screws from the lower shroud.

    4. Object Number: 375357 Size: SH
  4. Use the following steps in order to remove the lower shroud:
    5. 4.1. Tilt the shroud down and slide back in order to disengage the locking tabs.
    4.2. Remove the shroud protector.

  5. Remove the 2 TORX® head screws from the upper shroud.
  6. Remove the upper shroud.
  7. Remove the IP trim panel.

    8. Object Number: 375210 Size: SH
  8. Remove the 2 TORX® bolts from the multi-function switch.
  9. Disconnect the multi-function switch electrical connections.
  10. Remove the multi-function switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 375210 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the multi-function switch and the 2 TORX® bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the TORX® bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  2. Route the electrical harness and connect the electrical connections.
  3. Install the instrument panel (IP) trim panel.

  4. Install the upper shroud.
  5. Install the TORX® bolts

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the TORX® bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  6. Use the following steps in order to install the lower shroud:
    7. • Ensure that the slots on the lower shroud engage with the tabs on the upper shroud.
    • Tilt the lower shroud up and snap the shrouds together.

  7. Install the 2 TORX® bolts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the TORX® bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  8. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
  9. Install the tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .
