Removal Procedure

    Notice: Proper stoplamp switch adjustment is essential. Improper stoplamp switch adjustment could cause brake drag and excessive brake lining wear.

  1. Remove the left close out insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 428226 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the release switch assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 428226 Size: SH
  1. Install the release switch assembly (1).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Adjust the switch as needed. Refer to Brake Release Switch Adjustment .
  4. Install the left close out insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement .
