  1. Drive the vehicle above 40 km/h (25 mph).
  2. Place the CRUISE switch in the ON position.
  3. Press the SET button once and release the button.
  4. Remove your foot from the accelerator pedal.

The vehicle maintains a set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

  1. Press and hold the R/A switch until the vehicle speed increases 6-8 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release the R/A switch.
    • The vehicle accelerates to a new higher set speed.
    •  The vehicle maintains the new higher set speed.

  1. Press and hold the SET button until the vehicle speed decreases 6-8 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release the SET button.

If the speed is above 40 km/h (25 mph), the following actions occur:

    • The vehicle decelerates to a new lower set speed.
    • The vehicle maintains the new lower set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

Press the brake pedal slightly.

    • The cruise control disengages.
    • The memory is unchanged.

Press the R/A switch once.

    • The vehicle accelerates to a previous set speed.
    • The vehicle maintains the previous set speed.

  1. Press the R/A switch once (tap up).
  2. Release the R/A switch within less than 3/4 of a second.
    • The vehicle speed increases by 1 mph.
    • The vehicle maintains the new set speed.

Press the SET button once (tap down) and release the set button within less than 3/8 of a second.

    • The vehicle speed decreases by 1 mph.
    • The vehicle maintains the new set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

Press the SET button and the R/A switch at the same time.

    • The cruise control disengages.
    • The memory is unchanged.

Cruise Control Inoperative

Place the CRUISE switch in the OFF position.

    • The cruise control disengages.
    • The set speed memory is erased.
