- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Install the scan tool.
- Select the following items:
• | The driver door module (DDM) |
- Operate the left and the right front door lock cylinder switches.
Does the scan tool show an input for both front door lock switches?

function actuator (RFA) module. Refer to

- Disconnect connector C3 of the malfunctioning front door
lock cylinder switch.
- Operate the malfunctioning door lock cylinder switch while you
use a digital multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the resistance.
- Measure the resistance of the front door lock cylinder switch,
connector C3, and the corresponding terminals:
• | For the left door, terminal J and terminal K |
• | For the right door, terminal G and terminal H |
Is the resistance within the specified range?
| 0-5 ohms
