Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wheelhouse assembly. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body Front End.

  2. Object Number: 255352  Size: SH
  3. Remove the right side horn bolts (2).
  4. Remove the right side horns (1).

  5. Object Number: 255353  Size: SH
  6. Remove the left side horn bolts (1).
  7. Remove the left side horns (2).
  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the horns.

  2. Object Number: 255353  Size: SH
  3. Install the left side horns (2).
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the left side horn bolts (1).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  7. Install the right side horns (1).
  8. Install the right side horn bolts (2).
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  10. Install the front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
