Did you perform the Remote Keyless Entry Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

Press the Panic button on the transmitter.

Does the Horn sound and the Lights flash?

Go to Testing for Electrical Intermittents

Go to Step 3

Did only the Headlamps flash?

Go to Step 4

Go to Panic Mode Inoperative

Disconnect the Remote Control Doorl Lock Receiver (RCDLR) module. Refer to Keyless Entry Component Views

Connect a fused jumper between a good ground and A2 of the RCDLR connector.

Did the Horn sound?

Replace the RCDLR.

Go to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement

Go to Step 5

Find and repair the open or high resistance in the Horn Relay control circuit 28.

Refer to Testing for Continuity and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition.

System OK
