Circuit Description

The PCM monitors the A/C refrigerant pressure and sends the information to the SBM. The SBM determines if the A/C clutch should be on or off based on the pressure data from the PCM. The SBM sends a message over the class 2 serial data line to the PCM that the A/C clutch may be turned on.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The SBM determines that the A/C refrigerant pressure is too high based on the message from the PCM over the class 2 serial data line.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

    • DTC B1324 stores in the SBM memory.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC
