Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

  2. Object Number: 262572  Size: SH
  3. Remove the fasteners (2) that secure the radio (1).
  4. Pull the radio (1) rearward.
  5. Disconnect the radio electrical connectors.
  6. Disconnect the antenna lead.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the radio electrical connectors.
  2. Connect the antenna lead.

  3. Object Number: 262572  Size: SH
  4. Install the radio (1).
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the radio fasteners (2).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 1.8 N·m (16 lb in).

  8. Install the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
