Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Trim Panel Replacement in Seats.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s).

  3. Object Number: 258863  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 4 amplifier bracket fasteners (1,2) from the rear shelf.
  5. Remove the amplifier.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 258863  Size: SH
  1. Install the amplifier to the rear shelf.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Fasten the amplifier assembly to the rear shelf with the 4 bolts (1, 2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the amplifier bracket retaining bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb ft).

  5. Connect the electrical connector(s).
  6. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Trim Panel Replacement in Seats.
