Did you perform the Headlights System Check?

  1. Disconnect the headlamp dimmer switch connector C202.
  2. Place the headlamp switch in the HEAD position.
  3. Connect a fused jumper between the headlamp dimmer switch connector C202 cavity A8 (PPL) and ground.

Do the headlamps switch from low beams to high beams?

  1. Disconnect the lamp control module (LCM) connector C1.
  2. Connect fused jumpers between the following points:
  3. • The LCM connector C1 cavity D (DK BLU) to cavity E (BLK)
    • The LCM connector C1 cavity G (RED) to cavity B (LT GRN)

Do the high beam headlamps illuminate?

Repair the open in CKT 11 (LT GRN) between the LCM and the underhood junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

Test CKT 351 (BLK/WHT) between S203 and the headlamp dimmer switch for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in CKT 351?

Go to Step 6

Replace the headlamp dimmer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Tilt

Is the headlamp dimmer switch replacement complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

Test CKT 524 (PPL) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in CKT 524?

Go to Step 8

Replace the LCM. Refer to Headlamp Control Module Replacement .

Is the LCM replacement complete?
