Did you perform the Interior Lights System Check?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

  1. Disconnect the appropriate door jamb switch connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the appropriate connector cavity and ground:
  3. • Left Front: Cavity A (TAN)
    • Left Rear: Cavity A (DK BLU/WHT)
    • Right Front: Cavity D (LT GRN)
    • Right Rear: Cavity D (YEL/BLK)

Do the interior lamps illuminate?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 3

Test the appropriate circuit for an open:

    • Left Front: CKT 126 (TAN)
    • Left Rear: CKT 1179 (DK BLU/WHT)
    • Right Front: CKT 1177 (LT GRN)
    • Right Rear: CKT 1181 (YEL/BLK)

Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in the circuit?

--

Go to Step 4

Replace the appropriate door module. Refer to Front Side Door Window Module Replacement or Rear Side Door Window Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the door module replacement complete?

--

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Test the appropriate circuit for an open:

    • Left Front: CKT 1183 (YEL/BLK)
    • Left Rear: CKT 1180 (TAN)
    • Right Front: CKT 1178 (WHT/BLK)
    • Right Rear: CKT 1182 (RED)

Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in the circuit?

Go to Step 7

Replace the appropriate front door jamb switch. Refer to Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Doors.

Is the door jamb switch replacement complete?

Repair the faulty wiring. Refer to Wiring Repairs
