Did you perform the Exterior Lights System Check?

  1. Backprobe the turn signal/hazard switch connector C202 with a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) from cavity B10 (PNK) to cavity A6 (WHT).
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Press the hazard button.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15V

Go to Step 5

Test CKT 351 (BLK/WHT) between C202 and S203 for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in CKT 351?

Replace the turn signal/hazard switch. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle and Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Tilt

Is the turn signal/hazard switch replacement complete?

Test CKT 111 (WHT) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in CKT 111?

Replace the turn signal flasher. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher Replacement .

Is the turn signal flasher replacement complete?
