Disassembly Procedure
  1. Remove the upper tilt head components. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Head Housing - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 324874 Size: SH

    Important: The lock cylinder should be in the OFF-LOCK position.

  2. Disconnect the park lock cable assembly (1).
  3. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot on the lock module assembly. Push against the locking tab in order to remove.

    4. Object Number: 324867 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the connectors (1) of the ignition and key alarm switch assembly.

    5. Object Number: 324877 Size: SH
  5. Remove the control coded key (2) from the lock module assembly (1).

    6. Object Number: 324882 Size: SH
  6. Remove the key alarm connector (1) from the lock module assembly (2).
  7. Remove 2 tapping screws from the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3).
  8. Remove the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3) from the lock module assembly (2).

    9. Object Number: 306295 Size: SH
  9. Remove 3 pan head tapping screws (2) from the lock module assembly (1).
  10. Remove the lock module assembly (1).
