Notice
Before performing the following procedures, inspect the fused jumper assembly for burnt 2 amp fuses.

1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .



2. Pop the wire harness assembly (4) out of the wire harness strap (5).

Remove 3 wire harness straps (3) from the wire harness assembly (4).

Remove 1 wire harness strap (2) from the upper tilt head assembly (1).




3. Remove the black supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) connector (2) from the fused jumper assembly connector (1).



4. Remove the retaining ring (1).
5. Remove the SIR coil assembly (3).
6. Remove the wave washer (2).
