Before using the ABS/TCS procedures, you must have a basic knowledge
of the following items. Without this basic knowledge, it will be difficult
to use the diagnostic procedures.

| - | Definitions of voltage, current (amps), and resistance (ohms) |
| - | How to read a wiring diagram |
| • | Use of Circuit Testing Tools |
| - | The J 39200
DMM
and the use of the meter controls |
| - | How to measure voltage, resistance, and current |
| - | Use of jumper wires in order to bypass components in testing circuits |
