Crankcase Ventilation System Inspection VIN K

1. Remove the injector sight shield from the fuel rail and intake.



2. Remove the MAP sensor (1).
3. Use a 16 mm socket to press the access cover (2) down and rotate 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
4. Remove the access cover.
5. Remove the PCV valve (3) and the O-ring (4) from the intake manifold.

1. Install the crankcase ventilation valve (3).
2. Replace the O-ring (4) if necessary.
3. Install the access cover (2).
4. Install the MAP sensor (1).
5. Install the sight shield.

Crankcase Ventilation System Inspection VIN 1

1. While holding down the crankcase ventilation valve access cover (1), remove the access cover retaining bolts.
2. Remove the crankcase ventilation valve access cover (1).
3. Remove the following items:

•	Crankcase ventilation valve (2)

•

Spring

•	O-ring (3)

1. Install the following items:

•	Crankcase ventilation valve (2)

•

Spring

•	New O-ring (3)

2. Install the crankcase ventilation valve access cover (1).
3. While holding down crankcase ventilation valve access cover, install the access cover retaining bolts.
