DTC P0717 - keywords 4T65E buick DTC MN3 MN7 M15 M76 MIL P0717 SES

This PI was superseded to obtain different concern transmissions. Please discard PIP4236.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

If the above vehicles has DTC P0717 please follow the recommendations below.

Engineering needs to get five assemblies (complete transmission) with a P0717 vehicle speed sensor code, but NO 1-2 shift shudder.

Call TAC to set up a case and determine if the transmission or parts that the dealer is working on qualifies for return to engineering.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
