The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Engineering is looking for parts from a 1st time in 1-2 shift shudder car with no previous transmission repairs. Parts needed are driven sprocket support, input/third clutch housing and complete second clutch assembly. This must be a first time repair with no previous repairs for this concern.

Also, engineering needs to get five (5) complete assemblies, again first time in 1-2 shift shudder with no previous transmission repairs. This must be a first time repair.

Call TAC to set up a case and determine if the transmission or parts that the dealer is working on qualifies for return to engineering.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
