Difficult to Maintain Inside Temperature or Blower Speed Stays Too High - kw HVAC noise performance

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

Owners with automatic climate control may comment that it is difficult to maintain the inside temperature and the blower speed stays too high. Supplier Quality has identified in some cases the aspirator hose may fall off the aspirator due to the size of the hose and the aspirator tube. If you should encounter such a condition, remove 0.5mm of material from the locking tab on the aspirator to allow a tighter fit. If the aspirator hose is connected, the blower module will need to be reprogrammed.

A service bulletin will be released in the near future to address the high blower speed concern.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
