The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

SERVICE VME

A driver may encounter a knocking noise underhood when driving over rough roads. This noise may be coming from the radiator moving up and down due to excessive clearance at the radiator hold down support. The radiator hold down bracket bushing may not be thick enough to make contact with the radiator. To correct this condition install a piece of foam above the existing bushing or split another bushing to eliminate the clearance between the radiator and the hold down bracket bushing.
