J 41352 Modular Column Holding Fixture

Important: Align the block tooth on the steering shaft assembly to the 12 o' clock position.

1. Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove the key.



2. Put the steering column in J 41352 .
3. Pop the wire harness assembly out of the wire harness strap (1).
4. Check steering column for accident damage. Refer to Steering Column Accident Damage Inspection - Off Vehicle .



5. Disconnect the dimmer switch (5) from the bulk head connector.
6. Remove the hexagon nut (2) from the dimmer and ignition switch mounting stud.
7. Remove the TORX® washer head screw (3).
8. Remove the dimmer switch assembly (5) from the ignition switch assembly (1).
