MODELS AFFECTED: ALL 1986 ---------------- With the spring season fast approaching in many parts of the country, we remind all Buick dealers to review their new vehicle storage facilities and make arrangements as necessary to assure they are safe from possible flood damage. Planning in advance for such an eventuality could substantially reduce or eliminate the risk of damage to your inventory.

A number of states currently have statutes or other dealer obligations regarding the sale of vehicles involved in floods. In light of these statutes and regulations, we strongly recommend you take precautionary measures to guard against this possibility.

Should a flood occur which affects new vehicles in your inventory, immediately contact your Buick Zone Office in accordance with established procedures.
