MODELS AFFECTED: 1986 LESABRE CUSTOM COUPE WITH SALES OPTION CODE WE2

NOTICE: This bulletin supersedes bulletin 86-10-12, dated March, 1986, for addition of part number for Front Bumper Fascia.

A speciality car option (WE2) was recently made available. This limited edition LeSabre "Grand National" comes either in black (41) or white (40) exterior color and gray interior trim. The cars will be distributed mainly in Jacksonville and Atlanta Zones.

Parts specific to the 1986 LeSabre "Grand National" are available through GMWDD. Right side part numbers are indicated first followed by left where applicable:

Body Service Manual pages 11-12 and 13), however, the quarter window close out panels (P/N 20644852-3) are serviceable.

To replace quarter window close out panel: 1. Remove exterior reveal molding. 2. Remove the four (4) screws along top edge of close out panel. 3. Slide and work close out panel forward.

NOTICE: Do not pull outboard on leading edge of panel while working forward or front retaining tabs could be damaged.

To install close out panel reverse the above procedure.

The quarter panel quarter window module does not include the quarter window close out panel, therefore both must be ordered for complete replacement.
