Intermittent Security Light, No Start and/or B3055 - kw deterrent key module nostart security start theft theftdeterrent

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

Intermittent Security Light, No Start and/or B3055.

1. Inspect the terminal crimps to verify the terminal is properly secured to the wire on the following circuits in both sides of connector C201:

A. Circuit 1459, terminal B11, white wire

B. Circuit 1835, terminal C1, tan wire

C. Circuit 1551, terminal A6, black wire with white tracer

2. Verify the terminals listed above are fully seated in the connector.
3. Verify the connector is fully seated.
4. If the previous 3 steps do not resolve the concern, continue with the diagnostics in SI.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
