J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate trim panel retainers using the J 38778 .



3. Remove the trim panel from the lift gate.

Important: The water deflector is attached with an adhesive tape. Use caution when removing not to damage the deflector.




4. Remove the water deflector from the liftgate.

1. Install the water deflector to the liftgate.



2. Align the 4-way and 2-way wedges on the liftgate trim panel to the wedges on the liftgate.
3. Align the liftgate trim panel studs to the holes in the liftgate.
4. Align the upper edge of the liftgate trim panel to the top center of the liftgate.
5. Snap in place the upper edge of the liftgate trim panel to the top center of the liftgate.
6. Push on the liftgate trim panel in the four corners and center to secure the trim panel retainers.
7. Close the Liftgate.
