Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left body side front trim panel. Refer to Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the body side rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

  4. Object Number: 443510  Size: SH
  5. Remove the front quarter window latch screws.

  6. Object Number: 443508  Size: SH
  7. Remove the front quarter window hinge stud nuts.

  8. Object Number: 443500  Size: SH
  9. Remove the front quarter from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 443500  Size: SH
  1. Install the front quarter window to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front quarter window hinge stud nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the front quarter window latch screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 8 N·m (70 lb in).

  7. Remove the left body side front trim panel. Refer to Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Interior Trim.
  8. Remove the body side rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  9. Install the upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
