Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement Front Door
Removal Procedure
Important: The front inside door handle bezel has an electrical connector for the
power door lock system and the radio speaker.
- Remove the inside door handle bezel screw.
- Using a small flat-bladed
tool, remove the inside door handle bezel from the door trim panel.
- Remove the inside door lock electrical connector.
- Remove the inside door handle bezel radio speaker electrical connector.
- Remove the inside door handle bezel from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the door lock
electrical connector to the inside door handle bezel.
- Connect the radio speaker electrical connector to the inside door
handle bezel.
- Press the inside door handle bezel onto the door trim panel.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the inside
door handle bezel screw.
Tighten
Tighten the inside door handle bezel screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement Rear Door
Removal Procedure
- Using a flat-bladed tool,
remove the inside door handle bezel from its retainers.
- Slide the bezel off the door handle and remove it from the trim
panel.
Installation Procedure
- Slide the bezel onto the
rear door handle.
- Align the connecting clips on the bezel to the rear door trim
panel.
- Press on the bezel to secure the clips.
