Problem

Action

The ignition switch is incorrectly set.
    • Adjust the switch as needed.

The linkage is maladjusted.
    • Adjust the linkage as needed.
    • Replace the components as needed. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement .

The lock cylinder is damaged.

Replace the lock cylinder as needed. Refer to Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Assemble - Off Vehicle or Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
