Replace the cam as needed. Refer to Turn Signal Cancel Cam, Upper Bearing Inner Race Disassemble (Floor Shift) or Turn Signal Cancel Cam, Upper Bearing Inner Race Disassemble (Column Shift).

The detent spring exhibits one of the following conditions:

1. Adjust the spring.
2. Replace the components as needed. Refer to Turn Signal Cancel Cam, Upper Bearing Inner Race Disassemble (Floor Shift) or Turn Signal Cancel Cam, Upper Bearing Inner Race Disassemble (Column Shift) or Steering Column Housing - Disassemble (Floor Shift) or Steering Column Housing - Disassemble (Column Shift).

The return spring exhibits one of the following conditions:

The cancel spring exhibits one of the following conditions:

1. Adjust the spring as needed.
2. Replace the components as needed. Refer to Turn Signal Cancel Cam, Upper Bearing Inner Race Disassemble (Floor Shift) or Turn Signal Cancel Cam, Upper Bearing Inner Race Disassemble (Column Shift) or Steering Column Housing - Disassemble (Floor Shift) or Steering Column Housing - Disassemble (Column Shift).

The switch mounting screws are loose.

Tighten the screws as needed. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

The following components are broken:

1. Repair the components as needed.
2. Replace the components as needed. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Steering Column Housing - Disassemble (Floor Shift) or Steering Column Housing - Disassemble (Column Shift).
