Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 73898 Size: SH
  1. Remove the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in engine electrical.
  2. Note the position of the EVAP hoses for installation.
  3. Remove the Canister purge valve electrical connector and hoses.
  4. Release the lock tab on the mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 73898 Size: SH
  1. Bend tab on mounting bracket to retain the EVAP purge valve.
  2. Install the purge valve to the mounting bracket.

    3. Once installed pull on the purge valve to ensure that the part will be held in place.

  3. Install the purge valve electrical connector and hoses.
  4. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in engine electrical.
