BROKEN ROCKER ARM STUD GRIND END OF NEW STUD

Models Affected: 1985 Somersets, Skylarks and Centurys with 2.5L L-4 Engine (Vin Code R and U)

A broken rocker arm stud may be encountered on the above engine. This condition may be the result of a shallow stud hole in the cylinder head. Grinding a small amount off the end of the new stud prior to installing it in the head will usually correct this condition.
